Advocates & Mentors Association, Inc., specializes in Conflict Resolution as an alternative to litigation.  Our emphasis has been in conflict management for over 20 years.  Our major focus is training employers, school teachers, community leaders, faith-based organizations and a host of other institutions in alternative dispute resolution (ADR).   Our goal is to make mediation widely used in a culturally diverse society in which we live. 

Some of the areas in which we concentrate are education, legislation and incarceration.  In education, our focus is to keep our youth in school and to protect them from unfair suspensions as a result of zero intolerance.  We also work closely with the Justice system and other agencies in changing the State Bills (SB440 & SB441) that try our children as adults.  Incarceration is a 60 billion dollar industry which has very little support for inmates being released and we advocate for the reduction of recidivism and work to put in place programs for inmates being released from jail and/or prison.
